Point, press, copy

Screen Color Picker runs in the background while you move the mouse to a color
you want. Press Ctrl+Alt+C and it samples the pixel under the cursor, copies its
hex code to the clipboard, and prints the RGB value and screen coordinates in
the console.

The Python utility brings together a global hotkey listener, screen capture, and
clipboard access. It was written for Windows; a graphical interface and support
for other operating systems were left as future work.
