Design OpenAPI 3.0 documents with visual editors for routes, schemas, and security. Runs in the browser, saves locally, and works offline.

API design without the YAML homework
OpenAPI Editor sits between a text editor and a full API platform. Routes, parameters, request bodies, responses, and schemas have their own forms, with generated YAML alongside them. A Problems panel connects validation errors to the fields that need attention.
Import a YAML or JSON document by pasting it, opening a file, or fetching a URL. Export produces OpenAPI 3.0 YAML. Extensions and fields outside the visual editor are preserved where supported; imports warn about structures that need conversion. OpenAPI 3.1 is not fully supported.
A document that stays with you
Edits autosave to IndexedDB, and the installed PWA works offline after its first visit. Undo and redo include imports. A command palette jumps between routes, schemas, and settings, while parsing in a worker and virtualized views keep larger documents manageable.
The app uses React, TypeScript, TanStack Router, and Zustand. It keeps one document in the current browser, so exporting YAML is also the way to back it up or move it elsewhere.
