A playground for letters

Fancy Fonts Generator transforms text into decorative Unicode characters as you
type. It includes more than 50 predefined styles and can convert your input
through all loaded styles at once.

It is the browser counterpart to my Telegram bot
[https://alanvarghese.me/projects/fancy-fonts-bot]. Both use character mappings
for lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and digits. Adding another style means
defining those mappings in JSON.


Copyable, with some tradeoffs

The output is text rather than an image or an installed font, so it can be
copied into other apps. Rendering depends on Unicode support, and decorative
characters can make text harder to read or interpret with a screen reader.

The interface and conversion logic are written in HTML, CSS, and vanilla
JavaScript.
